The randomized controlled trial (RCT) is a type of scientific experiment that aims to reduce certain sources of bias when testing the effectiveness of the new treatment Innovation Support Scheme (ISS).
The conduct of the RCT, which involves an experimental and a waiting-list control group, will answer the question of the administration of an ISS improve innovation capacity on the individual and the organizational level compared to not administering the ISS.
This design can be expected to reduce the drop out rate since the ISS will be implemented in both the experimental and the waiting-list control group.
